The book achieved a cult following, reaching No. 3 on Amazon's new releases book list prior to its launch in USA. It was regularly featured in the top ten bestseller lists in Hong Kong and Asian book stores and sold over 10,000 copies in hardback.
The Cult of the Luxury Brand examines the Asian love affair with luxury and explains why "In today's Asia you are what you wear". It has also been translated into Chinese and Korean, with a Japanese version in the pipeline.
